i was a hard core atheist back then. i ridiculed the bible because of its "inconsistencies". i thought religious people strayed away from the truth the farthest.
its the complete opposite
i read books like the satanic bible from Aton lavey and the god delusion from Richard Dawkins and thought i knew what the world was.
the devil is clever. i was swayed by his deceptions but in the end god wins. my search for the truth was pure and god showed me the way. i asked Jesus for forgiveness for i saw right through the devils plans.

I don't understand your faith. I'm not going to criticize it; I just don't understand it. My family is all Christian. They clearly get something deep and meaningful from it, but I never have. I've always struggled with wondering if there's something wrong with me or if Calvinism is correct and I'm just not one of the elect. I'm not an atheist or even agnostic. I believe in a god and I know demons exist. I just have no personal connection to the Christian faith.
Calvinism is NOT correct. Jesus said, "God so loved the world that gave his one and only Son, that WHOEVER believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." He did not say some but WHOEVER and that includes YOU, if you believe in Jesus and want him as your personal Savior.
Precisely! Don't let man's religion get in the way of your personal relationship with Christ.
A personal connection doesn’t come to the “Christian faith”, but to the person of Jesus. It’s a relationship with God Himself.
God wants a relationship with each member of His creation, Jesus died to reconcile all back to Him. He wants every one.
If you like the values of God, that’s His personal character and it should inspire a respect and even love for who He is.
If you are interested, seek Him out. He’s always available to talk and looks forward to it. So I pray you would encounter the presence of God personally and be blessed and empowered and comforted by His personal attention as God and friend.
God bless.
