It makes you wonder how a county can permit a "carnival" when they don't know anything about food, vendors, rides, music or events that aren't even specified.
What about even the basics, like event safety, utility requirements, security concerns or sanitation?
If I contacted my county offices to permit a "carnival"... and couldn't tell them what would be at that carnival... they would tell me to take a flying leap. Have a specific plan, tell us exactly what that plan is... or no permit.
Why would Maricopa County just issue a permit and allow use of the fair grounds while not knowing anything?
Just because it's not on the website doesn't mean they don't know about it. My business website is pretty sparse and I do good work, I just suck at websites and don't really need one.
