Not to mention states rights vs federal. I don't see how the federal government has authority into something like this. If state or local want to do something like this, don't see why they can't tell the feds to fuck off.

Exactly..they (the Feds) don't have jurisdiction in this at all. The ones who do are the AZ State Supreme Court and the dems lost when they tried to get an injunction. Feds can say "you have to stop because of muh civil rights", and AZ can say go fuck off.
