Why would we cripple a Chinese aircraft carrier now?
It would be better to have that knowledge and skill... and NOT use it until the proper time. Let China build even more aircraft carriers with the same design flaw.
One day in the future, when China is in the middle of a military conflict and needs it's aircraft carriers... SURPRISE!!!! You were reliant on them... but suddenly none of them work. :>)
By doing this now, China has an opportunity to fix the problem during peace time.
You think we are at peace right now? There is an occupying force in the Whitehouse. I think this is war time. Not a kinetic war at the moment, but war.
