First, mucho kudos in the biggest way possible of how you have raised your daughters and have handled the consequences of social disobedience. I'm now a grandpa and wish I would have handled some of this stuff differently 15-20 years ago. 2nd; we live in Indiana and understand all of what you are saying. We live "away" and have been able to stock, store, go to small markets etc...to virtually avoid the masks since the onset. We were kicked out of Kroger a while back and a couple other places. BUT, it's just us 2. We work in ideal conditions...we know how blessed we are not to have to deal with this w/ kids, work, police, medical etc. It's rough for many. My wife and I pray every night, intentionally, for those that are in tougher gigs. Anyway, so happy to read about others standing up, and schools like this hanging in there. We'll be here on the other side of this & so will you. Good luck.
Thank you so much for your words. It is hard to be law abiding in these times, and then to teach the young proper respect with the insanity going on, so close to the precipice. The girls are 17 and 14, and we don't hide much of what is going on from them, so extra frustrating for them.
I did warn them not to look up Adrenochrome or watch the movies (they don't need more nightmares), and we told them not to look up the leaked Hunter Biden pics. Other than that they're up to speed.
We can't wait for the rallies to start again, girls want me to get them new MAGA hats. :)
