Until 2020, we were going to Montreal 2-3x per year. We'd do a week long and a couple long weekends and stay right off St. Denis. My wife & I have actually been depressed being shut out for the last year & a half. And we weren't the only Americans there, all of us gladly dumping money into the economy. I cannot imagine how badly the tourism loss has affected things. Seeing the vid reinforces how we've felt for a long time about the people there. I wish you the best and hope you can stay strong.
Is the curfew still in place? Last time we checked it was 9:30PM and bars were closed. Has that changed? (Have not looked since February if this has changed.)
Will the nightlife even be around in 6 months? That employs so many people, I'd bet most have hours reduced to where it isn't even a job or just laid off and dependent. And this is what gets me the most, politicians are smart enough to know this. They must realize they are breaking the back of the city. And yet, they do it anyway! If you need proof that these bastards want the Great Reset you only need look at what is being done to you in Montreal.
Meanwhile in Ontario (specifically Toronto), while there have continuously been small protests, they have remained small. Most people there are very content to bend over and let the Ontario government ream them which is unfortunate. However, I do think most people are starting to realize that it's all BS and are getting sick of it. Just that only a very small number of them are willing to stick their necks out.
If this kind of protest was going to happen anywhere in Canada, I would guess Quebec. In some ways, they have less tolerance for this kind of BS than the rest of Canada. I might not be surprised if it happened in Alberta too, but so far Alberta has been quiet although maybe that's just the media choosing not to report anything they find inconvenient.
One interesting thought, if the people in that march see how the msm has covered them, they may have no choice but to wake up and realize the media is BS, if they didn't already know this before.

I'm seeing LOTS and I mean LOTS of NY, NJ, VT, CT, PA, MA and even MT license plates these days up here in Montreal.

Starting today it is back to 9:30PM. Indoor dining is still not permitted in this commie state :((((

Quebec has had military openly shutting them down for a few months now. Ontario is just being threatened by this.
Canada needs a mass protest. This clearly isn't about a virus when they're shutting down your economy to a grinding halt.
It's economic warfare, time to deal with it as such.
