I am mom of a little girl. We go everywhere we can with no mask. (I live in a deep red state, unfortunately everyone in my area is still a mask zombie even with the mandate lifted). When I go to the grocery store, I am usually STILL the only one, along with my daughter, not wearing a mask, and what boggles my mind most of all are all the MEN who keep going along with this bullshit!!!
MEN PLEASE STAND UP!!! If you are still wearing your mask, take it off!! If you haven’t been wearing one, kudos!!! I’ve been chased out of Walmart, harassed in stores, and yet I won’t wear it. 90% of the time no one says anything. BE BRAVE!!!
Look at the way mens "fashion" was in to 70's-90's. It was ok just to be a guy. Fuzzy hair, waspy coke bottle glasses, shitty beards that werent overly manicured. Hell even in the movies. I just watched "When Harry Met Sally" (I know, it's hard to watch pedowood stuff now) and it was feasable that regular Joes like Billy Crystals character could get a lot of beautiful women. Then the whole metrosexual-queer-eye-for-straight-guy thing happened and the prettyfication of men snowballed to the point now that 90% of younger dudes I know look like total twinks. Skinny jeans turned into basically capris. Try finding some normal jeans. It's impossible. I have to buy my clothing from outdoor retailers like cabelas and find deadstock stuff like cargo shorts that are rugged and not 5 inches long with your balls hanging out.
Heres the thing though. If you look at a study of women as well as my own anecdotal experience, they hands down prefer rugged men. They are programmed to gravitate to tough resilient men for procreation. It's primal. This very idea has been socially engineered completely backwards. Men should take care of themselves and groom, but theres a difference between a nice haircut and shave and full blown salon days primping like a little bitch.
I'm convinced this is by design. Beyond unnatural.
As a woman, I can assure you, you’re over the target! I would probably be single for life if I had to date from the current younger generation. Nothing is more unattractive than a soy boy in skinny jeans who is more up to date on fashion trends than I am. More masculine, manly men is what the world needs now!
