Likely a blessing for Basecamp. I've been following DHH for a long while, and Basecamp is one of the innovators in remote working... They have been a 100% distributed company from the beginning, I believe. I've long been impressed with them.

Seems that they found a shortcut to trim the fat (more like toss the garbage) of their labour force, at their company... Given the amazing benefits, and culture for geeks Basecamp supports, I suspect that all those that quit over this have been being ugly entitled snowflakes, which I'm sure the company will benefit in losing in the long run. Pity our society has been making people like this :( Fuck gender/diversity/womens studies, and anything else like it!
