As of right now, they seem to be the main pipeline of children trafficking, funneling them through illegal immigration all around the world into US , and setting up the paperwork so nobody could legally say anything.
After everything is said and done, and all the ones held accountable for their actions and ommissions, should this institutions be allowed to exist, or should they be destroyed and replaced ?
There are a few problems I have with the foster care system and they don't have anything to do with OP allegations not that those aren't valid. Basically why is it so hard to adopt a child? Why is system so picky depending on where you are? I thought that the goal was to get the kids in permanent homes. Secondly as one of the replies has stated, the system is not immune to racism. I recall a story where the case was eventually dismissed when FB posts revealed that the CPS agent just wanted to stick it to the evil white father of a case she was working on. That said in my own community I have seen cases where children are successfully adopted.
