The hippies were right all along! Grounding yourself with the Earth, will actually decrease inflammation in the body. Scientific research now confirms this and since we're now also discussing healthy living on this board, I thought I'd let you guys know. This actually seems like a really big missing piece of our health puzzle.
What it comes down to is that your cells are batteries and if you don't ground yourself this will result in a constant 2v charge in your body. This results in inflammation in the body which is a root cause of many problems in the body.

Working with what I have. A sheet of aluminum foil inside my shirt on my back connected to an outlet ground with a test lead. I'll give it as long as I can while I work.
I spent about an hour and a half hooked to ground. I can't say I feel any different. I'll keep trying and getting outside barefoot.
I think it's supposed to be more of a longer term thing for most people. The experience of the man in the documentary, where he feels like a different person after one night of grounding, is quite rare.
