I don't believe these polls. Fake polls have become a good way of creating public policy. I would bet the 100k protesters in Montreal this last weekend would not agree with anything the government is pushing anymore, including this. In addition, that 100k is just a tip of the iceberg. Many more likely agree with them just don't want to stick their neck out.
Many Canadians are definitely brainwashed, but it's not as many as they quote. It's also telling that they are using polls to push public policy. Why not argue that the policy makes sense based on the facts? Because the actual policy is not based on any facts and the only reason they can come up with for pushing these horrible authoritarian measure is fake polls.
