My guess is this; after having looked at the chess references in the drops. I've come to the conclusion that Red and Green castles denote which rook (tower) on the board is moving. For example "Red Castle" could mean the rook on your right side and Green castle could mean the rook on the left aide. They may not be playing on a traditionally black and white colored board as well. Red and Green could be the actual colors of the teams on the boards. Red Castle would obviously be Patriots and the Corps of Engineers. That's my theory.
