Good for you both! The relationship between Grandparents and Grandchildren is being undermined right now and that relationship in an important part of a family.

I agree. Plus, I want my grandchildren to know they can always come to me, with whatever problem they have. Sometimes it's harder to go to your mom or dad. I may be old but I still remember.

Another great point. Parents have to parent and that can get in the way if a parent doesn't try to balance their relationship with the children. Grandparents are able to be there it seems. I don't have grandchildren yet so I'm just thinking what it will be like. I'm happy for you and your Granddaughter to be able to spend time with one another.
