I had never heard of this movie and considering that cast, that makes it very interesting.

Thats not exactly the plan. Although this vaccine will make both men and women unable to produce babies, that is not the whole intention. If it was they would not have given it to all the old people first. The vaccine will reduce the world population by 90-95% and those remaining will be forever slaves.
