Suffixes and how I have misused them:
-ian originates from greek meaning belonging to/ being the possession of/ being a slave to (Ex: Christian) -ist defines as an adherent to a certain practice or system (Ex:Pianist) -er defines as a connection of a person or thing with an object (ex: farmer)
Acts 11 (focus on v.26 however i recommend reading the entirety of the chapter)
The Holy Ghost brought me an insisting change of mind as follows:
I drink beer. I smoke a pipe.
I am NOT a beer drinkER nor a pipe smokER.
I have studied John Wesley's methods.
I am NOT a methodIST.
I love America. It is my country.
I am NOT an AmericAN.
I don't merely worship Jesus Christ.
I AM a Christian.
*I know these may be controversial but I felt pulled to share what i felt the Holy Ghost teaching me today. I am fully open for being tested or rebuked and in fact welcome it of my fellow brethren.
Stand strong fellow siblings and forget not that though we love America, we do not belong to it. We belong to Jesus Christ; and I believe knowing the difference could better help us impact this country as it should be. A nation under GOD. But not just any God. A God who's Son is Jesus Christ. I believe that's where real transformation can happen in this country else Q themselves would not be quoting the Bible. All glory to God in Jesus name God bless America and God bless you all in Jesus name. Amen
AMEN!!!!
