Ethanol gets a bad rap.. I switched my truck over from running 93 to E85 last year.. Instead of paying $3.30 a gallon for 93, I'm paying $2.40 for E85 and getting 105 Octane from it. High Octane means I can run more timing and make even more power!
It's bad for most other applications, notably for marine and small power equipment. It is also less efficient by a degree than standard gasoline. That said, if you can tune your engine and have access to a high enough ethanol content, you can get a poor man's version of what is essentially a type of race gas.
Anything brass for sure. So really anything with a carb.. My mowers and my Vintage Motorcycle get nothing but Non-Ethanol 90.. but for everything modern it's pretty good stuff!
I've been wanting to switch to it, but I don't have a flex fuel sensor so I need to manually tune for it. And it's not readily available here enough to make a long trip without having to get at least some regular 87.
Great Idea btw. I need to have some stickers made myself. On another note, I remember seeing some talk about QR codes and bypassing AI detection of memes and other posted images. Do you or anyone else know if there is any truth to that?
My wallet isn't being wrecked by these fairly reasonable gas prices.
A few days ago, I saw an old newspaper, and the headline was about how happy people were with the low gas prices. The price was $2.99. Now it's less than that, but people are complaining about it being high.
You should be happy that gas isn't priced like milk is. Milk is more expensive, but it's way cheaper to produce.
Another thing that puzzles me is that people talk about gas being a penny cheaper at one station than another and wondering why. They have no clue about differing wholesale costs and the cost of doing business at various locations. Yet the same people don't wonder at all about their groceries costing a whole lot more at one store than another.
Facts and logic matter.
Get back to me when gas is around $10.00 a gallon. If it ever gets there, I might not sit in my car with the engine running and radio on while I eat at Sonic so I won't hear their crappy choice of music.
My car takes premium and I like to use the ethanol free stuff; so the pump that's closest to me is $3.99/gallon. I'm just used to it...

It destroys small engines

Cheapest gas near me is at Sunoco it's at 2.80 for regular
Paying over 4 dollars a gallon in California
I made ones with Joes face that says I'm Joe Biden and approve of these gas prices. They go on every pump I stop at!
Well played!
