The clear plastic is a drape between the sterile surgical field and the anesthesia crew. For C-section it's clear in case mom is under regional anesthesia ( spinal or epidural) and not fully asleep and wants to see the baby.
Most times the drape is blue or rarely green and not clear
Also when I say proof, I mean that it is typical or a name for it, as was mentioned in the post you mentioned etc. As a surgeon who sees this I kind of expected more info from you
You can see some monitors and stuff around the lady. She has a hospital blanket draped across her chest. As a general surgeon I've seen this alot
