While waiting to get seated at restaraunt over heard a gentlemen talking about either himself or somebody else on how they felt Ill after the second dose and was fine the next day but then began feeling Ill again The next day
I’ve seen a lot of people share share similar experiences so I definitely believed it but to hear it with my own ears it’s very alarming
My dad got the jab, although I don't know which one he received and have not asked him. We have a "don't talk about politics" agreement between us, and our relationship stays solid. He recently told me he got the jab and I was this close to spouting off on how ridiculous he is being, but I realized that it's a) too late to do anything about it and b) wouldn't help the situation on either of our ends. I'll probably tell him soon that I have no plans to get it because I trust the immune system they gave me when they created me from their own genes as well as trusting natural science for remedies in case I do get sick.
Mind you, I've been at his house multiple times over the last year during the entire pandemic with no issues and no requests for me to keep my distance, wear a mask, etc. It's very odd that he would have a hands-off approach to being around me and yet consider getting the shot.
He's in his late 60's and has had issues with his blood (I think he's still on thinners) which aggravates me even more considering he should really know better with his condition and the links to clotting / circulatory issues with the vaccines. I know he didn't get the J&J one because he mentioned to me that he got "both" shots, but I don't know if it's the Pfizer or the Moderna one.
I'll just savor the time I have with him and pray to God that he's not one of the ones who gets the side effects. At this point the mRNA modification crap doesn't phase me in this case because he's at the point in his life where it doesn't matter much.
It's good that he is on blood thinners. The severe effects of covid are related to excessive clotting at the boundary between the air sacs in the lungs and the capillaries, blocking the transfer of 02 and CO2. Blood thinners will keep this problem at bay should he be one of the unfortunate vaccinated to contract covid. Also make sure he is taking vitamin D, or at least get tested to be sure he is not Vitamin D deficient. Almost all hospitalized covid patients are vitamin D deficient.
