A few weeks ago I slipped, fell, and stabbed my elbow on a sharp piece of wood. I went to the 24/7 emergency room and got fixed up to stop the leak. The nurse couldn't believe that I said "no" to the tetanus shot.
Every time I take a kid to the ER for stiches or whatever, they try to push it on me. Then I educate them. Does my child have a picture wound? Has my child been exposed to cow feces? No thanks.

Nurses can be so stupid.
Tetanus comes from animal bites or feces.
The reason why it’s associated with rusty nails is because rusty nails are commonly found on abandoned farmland. With cattle feces.
You must have a deep puncture wound that doesn’t bleed much, combined with tetanus to contract tetanus.
It’s not just from simple wounds.
