Funny how this image indirectly suggests fathers are useless for raising children. Best thing they can do is do a good job of living the mother (ie let her take all the details raising kids).

Let's try this on instead.

"The greatest thing a mother can do for her children is to love their father"....

....Somehow I don't see that being an approved social truth.

Perhaps we could ditch the social BS and go with

"The best thing the parents of children can do for their children is provide for their needs in an stable environment that reinforces a healthy understanding of what a loving and supportive family is (ie not dis-functional). Building into their children's lives spiritually, emotionally, physically so that their children can be fully prepared and enabled to take on this world by applying themselves to their preferred life's work, recognizing and avoiding the traps and evil that exists to ensnare and destroy them, and worshipping the God of creation - our Lord and Saviour Jesus (Yeshua)."

Sure, my quote doesn't for so well in a little bumper sticker picture, but I would argue it is far better and more accurate as to the qualities of good parenting.
