This is SO true. Few years back, my friend's brother was at some festival. His parents met and married in SF in the early 60s and the kids were born and raised in SF. He is talking with this one woman and he asks her where she is from and she exclaims 'San Francisco!' He paused and replied, 'No, where are you really from?' She was from some place in the midwest...
