I'm not sure about NY. They certainly did in Seattle/Tacoma/Olympia and then they refused to leave - https://usmagspress.com/homeless-antifa-activists-occupy-tacoma-motel-refuse-to-leave/

I wouldn't be surprised if a similar thing is occurring in NY. Both states are Israeli/Chinese slave colonies.
