I remember the government loudly blasted the song "Boots" by Nancy Sinatra as they were burning down all those kids along with the compound. It was also alleged that David Koresh knowingly went to a Dunkin Donuts or IHOP type place once a week and he could have been arrested there. The original gun charge supposedly was because he had a shot gun that was 1/8" too short to be legal. That is the story I remember going around at the time.
