It starts suddenly at "An eye for an eye".

Matthew 5:38-40:

38 “You have heard the law that says the punishment must match the injury: ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.’

The Left always interprets that as Jesus preaching pacifism. I disagree. I believe it means:
