Including a lady and her young son...maskless. I had one on...nose out. I immediately took it off and finished shopping.
Got to the cashier, and the manager came up. I still had my mask off....they both were masked. She bagged my groceries, we talked about the weather, and it was awesome.
Haven't worn a mask in Publix all year. They have a no confrontation policy.
I got a very loud HEY! and a point to his face from a young bag boy at the same location a month ago when i walked in with no mask.
Yes, exactly. It was so weird being the only one! I REALLY liked it haha
Yes, it is a joy to be free among the slaves. Sad to see the slaves, but a joy to not be one of them.
I don’t normally have the energy to deal with the crazies....but I finally have embraced the “fuck it” confidence and attitude, and its glorious.
Hillsborough county-just stopped wearing the mask in every store and restaurant and nobody has so much as glared at me. It’s awesome. I haven't worn one at work since the Fall, approx. and no big deal.
Just stop wearing one. Like most trends, it only takes a few weeks and you’ll see a huge change. If anyone asks-ask them why they need a vaccine if the mask works? If the vaccine works, why wear a mask?
Im worried about my office. We are at maybe 20% normal occupancy and they just put up signs/pictures of employees in masks, saying some shit like masks protect everyone.
It’s legit The Twilight Zone.
If you have the opportunity, remove the signs.
Publix pike rd
Had the same experience last weekend in the Tampa area.
Moving down there next month from whacko Illinois. Can't wait!
Welcome to Tampa! I feel like I should offer you a green army blanket and some water.
Dude! I saw you! Good job, taking it off.
The air smells fresher now!!
Been mask-less in my Publix for the past 6 months. (Jax, FL) I will tell you that over the past two weeks I have seen WAY more folks without masks. It's getting better, just taking some time. Still hard to believe that there are still so MANY wearing masks.
