Modern control systems are vulnerable to computer hacking. Perhaps we should consider a modified butlerian jihad. "No thinking machines to be connected to an external network".

No infrastructure control schemes should ever be online, period. Simply have Humans interface between the control schemes and reporting that data upstream or off site. Only the on site operators and techs should ever have access to data hiways or control schemes.
