Right. You can’t force me to affirm a lie even if it’s about yourself. I won’t affirm someone who believes they are 200 pounds while reality says they are 100 pounds.
That was part of the 10 Commandments tablet that fell off.
There was that disclaimer at the bottom:
" *Unless it can get you kicked off of Facebook or Twitter, then it's OK".
Man I hate this crap. My best friend of over 20 years now thinks she is a he. I still talk to her (eventually I believe this will no longer be possible), but i refuse to call her a he. I don't use any pronouns actually lol. I used to joke and say things like bro and dude, but I don't anymore just incase she takes that as me affirming her as a he.
She's also a lesbian. I love her. I pray she repents one day.
As a friend explain you feel uncomfortable, and that you are worried about your friendship. You can explain that you feel your friend should live a happy life filled with love. You can also explain that as a follower of Jesus you would like to offer your understanding of Salvation. Personally I would skirt around the bigger issue with love. In the end: all sin is equal in that it will keep you out of heaven (I do believe there are different shades of sin).

I refuse to be forced to participate in someone's mental illness.
God understands Facebook and Twitter bans.
