Raiding? Sorry sots? Could we at least trade modern quips? My initial comment was sarcasm, but I should have known it would sail straight over your helmeted Norse-American head.
I wouldn't try to defend the indefensible. Why do you think I would? I thought what we had established on GA was that the elite are all of our common opponents. I could no more defend the crown than our politicians, I condone neither. Is this a difficult concept?
Not at all. Have you travelled the world? I’m going by experience. I do have some positive things about Britain I could say, and a few friends there. I realize this is a global battle. My feelings about Parisians and the (average) Brit won’t change however. Maybe my statement was harsh but go visit and see for yourself. I go into battle with a Berserker attitude...there are unwanted casualties.
I haven't travelled enough of the world to make generalisations, no. I have met good and bad people wherever I have been though- these matters don't cross populations, good individuals are to be found everywhere. I do think there are many positives to take from a Berserker attitude- there have scarce been better examples of warrior spirit. That said, do make sure within the unwanted casualties there aren't good individuals or innocents to be found- we are not at the point of 'Caedite eos. Novit enim Dominus qui sunt eius'.

It’s fine as written. Go ahead, defend the crown.
