"It was never going to be just a few days."

I remember when the 15 days mantra came out last March. Already then I said that the line sounded too similar to the "It's just for three days" line that Pol Pot's Khmer Rouge used to coerce people out of the cities and into slavery in the countryside or jungle.

Hopefully we can still win this fight because the alternative is unappealing.
