Went into a shop to get some velcro. Nice assistant didn't say anything about my not having a mask on. We chatted amiably and I told her the plastic face shield she had on and masks were useless and explained about Hazmat suits. She seemed interested and then a rona nazi marched up and told me to stop abusing the staff. I calmly replied I was merely talking to her and was ordered to use the hand sanitiser. I politely declined and asked why, since I was not touching anything.
COMPANY POLICY!
But I am not touching anything!
COMPANY POLICY!
I smiled and walked out. Stupid droids with IQs lower than their shoe size keeping the fakedemic going. Enough already.
Thank you! I appreciate the replies and the company of all the good people on here. Keeps me sane. It is so sad and dispiriting to be the only maskless person in a supermarket, just occasionally there is another but that is rare. I try to tell people and motivate them but they are too apathetic and gutless to go against the flow. Shame: this would all end if just 10% of people refused and said "We're not doing it".
We will get there! Here in CT we have a no mask rally on Saturday. Progress??
