--He didn't make them funny, he lampooned them. He's also been criticizing SJW nonsense for longer than most people have even been aware of it.

I'm not a huge Cleese expert but that's what I thought. I recall a Month Python skit where some peasants were playing in/mining mud, and refusing to live in the empty castle nearby. Was a jab at communism I thought..
