I have been sick at heart and depressed since January 6 and it's been an awful year.
Yeah, I know, "it's happening" but even so the country and the world are being destroyed so it's not happening soon enough.
Sorry to hear about that, man. Are you by any chance religious? I’d recommend reading your Bible, however if you’re not religious I can accept that. Bible has helped me whenever I felt anxious and afraid so it might help you. You can get through this ??
I started questioning religion in third grade, by the time I was a senior in high school I decided religion was pretty much a scam. I am 62 now.
Don't get me wrong. I do think there is something wondrous out there controlling our vast universe. But it has nothing to do with thinking there is a somebody up there who "loves us all." Personally I think the creation of religion was a step in evolution, to keep mankind from killing itself. Dangling the idea of an after-life in front of them might keep people from doing themselves in.
I watched a movie about the destruction of Pompeii, and was struck by how the people were praying to their gods for specific outcomes. "God" does not work that way.
Having said that, I must say I am VERY impressed with the great faith that seems to drive some of the people we admire in their lives.
Oh, there's definitely an Afterlife and a kind of "God" (universal consciousness). But I don't believe in religion. That's just a way to control the sheeples.
