I consider some of my friends "bellwethers" or canaries in the coal mine. Went to dinner with my former college roommate and bf last night. Very middle of the road politically as is her family of four. The twenty something daughter came out of her room to laugh at and show everyone the Biden/Carter photo. That was huge to me because based on what I know about this young woman it means that the photo absolutely made the rounds among the "normies." Anyway, I said, "That's just their way of telling us that the Biden years are going to be the Carter years on steroids." I wish I could describe the "aha" look on her face. You could just see the wheels spinning. It was awesome, and I didn't look like a lunatic for saying it.
