I bet all the MSM was ready to write articles about how Trump is endorsing the crazy Qanoner Lin Wood.

Possibilities:

Trump is keeping his promise made earlier to endorse Drew, or

Trump has intel saying Drew will win and he's making friendly with someone he needs to work with, or

Trump has to keep distanced from Lin and Q, or

Combinations of the above.

Perhaps Lin was there to do damage to the Deep State. Lin may have other ways to be helpful as a person without the baggage of office.
