Ok so everyone will be removing their masks. Nothing will stop this now. I live in a rural community and I wish I didn't have to shop at Walmart but it is the only store around. I have not been wearing a mask and noone stops me. But I am not the only maskless person in the store.
Most rural communities ONLY have a super Walmart. You must not live in the country. You have no idea what is in my town. VERY little. I live 50 miles from another bigger city and tend to shop there because the shopping here sucks. The biggest store here is our super Walmart. In addition to that, There are 3 grocery food stores here and a family owned butcher shop that we do shop at, a tractor store, an Ace Hardware, one clothing outlet, a CVS and Walgreens. There is a pizzeria/diner in my town, a Chinese buffet, one family owned breakfast/lunch place, and three Mexican restaurants. Only one higher price restaurant/bar with entertainment. Also several fast food places where I DO NOT shop: An all you can eat restaurant, Bojangles, Domino's pizza, a McDonalds and a Kentucky fried chicken. I do on occasion drive to an Amish shop in my county o buy bread and other jams or soups. We have no ice cream, bagel or coffee shops. Nor do we have any other hardware or gardening stores. Walmart has a number of items that we purchase that no one else has. And that my fren is all that is here.
We have a bar, a part time post office, and a very limited convenient store that is open if the owner didn't stay at the bar too long the night before :) .
You just said you have an ace hardware and a tractor store. Do they only sell tractors? No tools? Have you ever tried asking them to stock other products that you would like to buy there?
They have tools, pet food but no household goods. Like I said I try not to shop Walmart but sometimes I have to or I have to drive 50 miles into the city.
