I think if you dig into Military Reg's there are a lot of hoops a man of his rank and background have to jump thru before they publish a book and talking in a public forum about his personal feelings about anything is a no no as well...especially if the force is clandestine in nature. He broke the tiny rules how can he be trusted with the big rules as well. His views on neo-marxism are moot and not the reason he was dropped but it makes for a nice headline for some.

The guy was already a security risk, publishing a book while on active duty... expressing political opinions while promoting his book...
He was relieved for those reasons, not for the specific political beliefs as the headline was phrased to suggest.
You can't trust clowns like that in top positions, breaking rules to line their own pockets, etc. Extremely bad judgement on his part.
So what. The military is expressing political views as well. Fuck the military. I no longer respect them. Respect has to be earned.
