Coptic Christians have been very heavily oppressed for thousands of years. Assad is an Alawite, and they respect religious freedom, part of the reason they hate him. Syria's neverending strife does not come from within and warring factions but by armed outside insurgents paid for with our tax dollars through the MIC and other DS factions.
