Since my swimming example went over so well, here's another verbatim conversation i had an hour or so ago at a Lowe's (gotta get the chlorine where you can find it these days).
The point of these posts is to highlight that we need to throw their crap right back in their faces. Screw liberalism - it's a mental disorder and not treating it as such is harmful to society.
In the self check-out area:
Karen: "you know you really ought to wear a mask when in a store".
Me: "you know you really ought to mind your own business when you don't know if the guy checking out in front of you is fucking nuts".
I finished up and dropped my wallet intentionally to expose my concealed firearm. Karen was visibly shaken.
They're the crazy ones. Treat em as such.
I've been told this is illegal.
Go back to your cry closet Karen, go pet your comfort peacock.
It's illegal to pick up something you dropped? Brandishing is one thing. Bending over so a coat moves and exposes a holstered firearm is not brandishing.
This post glows hard.
I took a firearms class and was told that it was. If you have a concealed weapon and it becomes nakedly visible you are legally considered to be brandishing regardless of whether it was intentional.
Regardless of whether it's illegal, it's unethical and irresponsible gun ownership. It's an insinuation of violence. A lady in a checkout line isn't threatening you with physical violence, which makes OP the aggressor.
Crybaby
Ok, Karen. Ask me if I give a fuck? Also, PA has no brandishing laws, so, yes. Bag o dicks for you.
You acted like an asshole and thought you could threaten a peaceful person and get away with it by acting like it was an accident. Don't do that shit again. I would have called the cops on you and not felt bad about it one bit.
What the fuck state do you live in? Confusion I think.
That's not brandishing.
It's also illegal to poach a sasquatch in Washington.
But it is legal in Texas. Mmm, BBQ.
Concealed means concealed.
So I can't expose it? Not even to use it. Blshit. You can't expose it as a threat, we all k ow what thatblookd like. And I spot concealed weapons on people.all the time. Im Always looking because where I live everyone seem to carry and I just like to know who it is if i can.
He told her not to test him and then purposefully exposed his weapon. That's not self defense.
Outline through the shirt- ok.
Actual accident- Who's going to call the cops on you? Who cares.
In the middle of a heated exchange- brandishing. The reason the law is written this way is to prevent people like OP from engaging in violent threats and then trying to pass it off as an accident. This was Texas law as of a few years ago. I don't have a CCL (and won't need one now!) so I can't talk with more authority but OP is obviously out of line and shouldn't be encouraged.
