It is a interesting article. I remember when it came out, I got excited. The article lays the pretext using the coronavirus and a scenario where the government officials become disabled and establishes a "continuity of government". I'm sure the same rules apply if an insurrection occurs and most of our government are arrested for treason.

I'm of two opposing opinions about this article: On the one hand, maybe it would be good for America to see just how self-sufficient and we can be in the absence of government. Everyone living their own lives, with no regulatory agencies looking over their shoulders... just imagine that! On the other hand, I know a lot of critical infrastructure and disabled people rely on the government to survive. Maybe a short-duration Mad Max world might revitalize our population and remind them that we can be quite powerful and inventive when we band together in common cause. Oh well, we can speculate all day long; but none of us can predict just how the future will unfold.
That....... seems like a much bigger concept in practice. How do we come back from that?
"All right guys, we'll have a quick Mad Max anarchy session through Saturday, then we'll rebuild our entire society the right way on Sunday, and then back to work on Monday."
