I've stopped buying Chinese-made products for the last 5 months and I can't tell you how happy I've been and how much money I'll be saving.
A lot of Chinese goods are cheap upfront but you'll always end up paying more in the long run as you replace them more frequently. The frustration that comes with using crappy tools and items suck too. Using American / Canadian / Allied products simply is more enjoyable.
Stop buying Chinese. Hit them where it hurts!
My parents lived through the depression and WW ll so they knew how to pinch pennies. I remember one time when I was younger, we were in a 5 & 10 store. I picked up some small little trinket and asked mom if I could buy it. She made me turn it over to see where it was made. It was stamped "Made in Japan". She told me immediately to put it back. Now with the crap with China, I can understand her feelings a bit more.
