I've stopped buying Chinese-made products for the last 5 months and I can't tell you how happy I've been and how much money I'll be saving.
A lot of Chinese goods are cheap upfront but you'll always end up paying more in the long run as you replace them more frequently. The frustration that comes with using crappy tools and items suck too. Using American / Canadian / Allied products simply is more enjoyable.
Stop buying Chinese. Hit them where it hurts!
Amen brother
Stopped shopping at wally world first because of the masking, second because of reading 80% of the products come from china. did not click until seeing that.
it's truly the "dollar store with more"
Made in USA kitchen gadgets, dishware, furniture, can all usually be found at goodwill, OR more personally preferred Deseret Industries thrift (morman areas) - Deseret is a much lower price point and often nicer stores imho.
Can also usually find vintage Made in Japan items circa 50's/60's that work just as well, since we were rebuilding their manufacturing base at the time.
