I think you misunderstand our doctrine and our church, but that’s okay. I don’t think it’s a good use of our time debating something that scholars and politicians debated nearly two millennia ago, and did not unanimously agree on. Scholars get it wrong all the time (on all sides).
I glorify Christ and worship Him as one of three Gods in the Trinity. I know he redeemed mankind and is the Savior of all the world. He is the focus of all our worship.
I am familiar with the doctrine. There are multiple ways to be ‘one’ with someone, beyond physically. A husband and wife are called ‘one’, the Zion people are called ‘one’.
I just think our energies are better focused on the true enemy.

Best wishes fren.
Mormons always have to end the conversation with “agree to disagree,” because they don’t actually know their theology.
Jesus claimed to be one with the Father.
If you deny Jesus’ own claim, you are not worshipping Him, you are calling Him a liar and instead worshipping a version of Him that He Himself denies.

Any doctrine which reduces the glory of Christ and calls Him less than he called Himself is one with the true enemy.
