Thanks for the comment. I have done some quick reading to try to understand what you've explained and implied, but I don't quite follow. The Hebrews who fled Egypt and settled back in Canaan are the Babylonian Canaanites because they were conquered and taken as slaves? If that's what you mean, then who are the "Jews" in your statement? Thanks for the insights. I'm really struggling with all of the deeper layers.
