I've noticed a kind of microcosm between bitcoiners, metal fans, and the WSBets apes. There's plenty in each camp that swear up and down that the other two are scams, or a waste of money, blah blah blah.... But everybody seems to agree that we're on the eve of a big event that's going to take down the bankers who are manipulating the markets and we're all going to walk away with millions!
Then there's me who thinks it's all going to happen at the same time because it's all part of the plan.
Good, good. The "bitcoin billionaires" who are constantly cashing out into real assets, like real estate, Ferraris, blow, and hookers, are running a little dry, and could use more greater fools dumping their real assets into the laughable pyramid scheme that is "cryptocurrencies."
Where did all this money, actual money buying actual assets once pulled out of the crypto system, come from? "Cryptos" don't create any value (in fact, it's worse than a zero-sum game, given all the resources literally burnt to "mine" BitCoin). All the value these "crypto kingpins" have pulled out has been funded by the "greater fools", the necessary suckers for any pyramid scheme to spew out unearned wealth to the early entrants. And when those greater fools dry up, and oh, they will, historically and mathematically, the greater fools are left holding an empty, worthless bag. If you sit down at the poker table and can't immediately spot the mark, it's you. All of you.
You very understandably may not like the way the dollar and other fiat currencies have been debased by our government, but dumping your hard-earned wealth into a transparent pump-and-dump scam like "cryptocurrencies", motivated truly by money-for-nothing greed and pyramid-promises that "past performance guarantees future results"... it's utterly tragic.
I am convinced we have white hat support there as a mechanism to trigger the destruction of wall st and execute a fabulously ironic reverse wealth transfer from the hedgies/clearinghouses back to the little guys.
