I have to agree with you lol. I don't get why this community loves the matix so much. It was obviously woke before woke was a thing. I mean its painfully woke.

How is the original Matrix woke? I will give it to you that the all the sequels sucked ass, were a grab for your wallet and I walked out of the theatre due to the lack of quality, script and suspension of disbelief and thus have not seen them. I am not talking about the sequels. Yeah, the turning humans into batteries plot line is the most ridiculous way to produce a piddling amount energy conceivable. Otherwise it was an interesting piece that was ahead of it's time in 1999. How is it woke?
