We live on Long Island, NY. For the last 3 days I've been inventing errands to see what happens when I go maskless. Home Depot and Loews - only one guy without. Walmart only a stock person who had it on his chin. Lots of looks, no comments. Shop Rite everyone masked, meat department window with a giant sign saying they are union employees and protected by the union. No mask, no meat. Local grocery store where the manager jumps on you if you forget to put it on - blessed silence. And - the challenge of the day - the post office. Not a peep. In summary, everywhere I went, everyone wore a mask. So sad. But I enjoyed every breath and breeze in this day God made. Thank you Jesus! And no, I'm not vaccinated.

An update to my original post. Our church (Catholic) finally took the tape off the pews blocking every other and put the hymnals back. I heard from a friend that masks would still be required. My husband (70) went to Mass this morning. He saw a few maskless so he took his off. When he came home, he told me he felt so free. He never realized how hard it is to breathe with a mask! He'll never go back. I always walked in with one and immediately pulled it down.
