The simplest reason the official story here is bullshit is the idea that this guy was rolling in dough by beating video poker machines—and the casino comped him for it. Lol. This is one the most obviously suspect mass shooters.

We, like a defense attorney, don’t have to prove any particular theory correct, just show theirs is suspect.
