I held out my hand and said "here's a handful of fucks I have to give for the common cold."
He looked a me with puzzled face so I explained to him the truth giving him a small dose of red pill.
I also came to the collusion this weekend that people are scared to take off the mask.for fear of what other people think. I, however, walk into a store deep behind enemy lines with zero fucks and people look back with admiration for my courage.
We can reach this people, don't give up!!!
Been doing that for months. The great British public is still swayed by the fear porn, sadly. A few are glad to see my going against the flow, specially shop staff who are clearly sick of it all.
My local co-op staff have been really nice to me all year that I've not been wearing a mask. I make a special effort to be happy and chatty with them and now do most of my weekly shopping with there too.
They really seemed to appreciate being able to see a face at least once during the day.
Same here, they cheer up when they see me coming and are keen to chat. One or two look grumpy but don't say anything. I smile at the other shoppers and most seem unsure of how to react. The key is to be confident and friendly. This can't go on much longer, we are closer to the end. Stay firm and resolute!
Totally agree, confidence is key. Learnt that walking the streets of a very rough housing estate when I was a kid on my lonesome.
I bet immigrants don't care
