Kudos to @Classical, I have realized that the mask mandate and brainwashing does not only apply to Filipinos, but also to other countries surrounding it like Taiwan and co.
It is said that we do our own Asian way, however, I have concluded that I have seen a lot of these things everywhere.
- To use the traditional way in handling crisis where it gives the best possible outcome no matter how much it fails or succeeds. fg. lockdowns, masks, social distancing. No matter how much they suck and destroy things, they just want to do it and it is hurting a lot of us.
P.S Masks has been indoctrinated to us ever since. When you are sick, we are asked to wear a mask and do this. Ever since SARS has happened or any seasonal flu if you are sick
- To follow "authorities" and not question well even if they are doing bad
We are taught this way. To follow everyone on top. We "look up" to the so called bureaucrats in the WHO, UN, DOH, any authority that is bureaucratically elected and unknown to the people. It is also said that a lot of our leaders follow these so called people. Thus, making we the people vulnerable to their mandates.
- Mass everything
Mass vaccinations are a thing here, mass mask mandates, mass everything. A lot of countries in our vicinity follow the ideaology of democratic socialism aka kind of left wing and we rely that the government is the one who handles everything. Thus are freedoms which kinda seems why not a lot of people are resisting to the narrative.
- Virtue signaling everything. Doing all the weird things under the cabal system and brainwashing the public as if it is their own good.
We Asians have an attitude of doing things together or Bayanihan in my country. However, under the cabal system, they are doing things that are similar to how the Leftists in America do fg.
-Encourage people to take the experiment. It seems like most of the malls and stores are incentivising us when they show the green pass (vax card)
-wear a mask "properly". Even our president is jailing people if they do not wear mask properly. Police officers "gestapo" in our place are making sure that we wear it at all times.
-Unscientific, where tf studies are in faceshields.
Hay nako mga Pinoy, tayo lang sa buong mundo ang mayroong ganitong klase ng protocol. We are the only country in the world who makes faceshields mandatory. Everywhere you go, you have to wear it or you are fined.
- People believe in the media
Not only us here that we believe in the "stars" and in propaganda, it is also seen outside us. Imagine how China and co. have state controlled media and there are no alternatives to reading the news. It is only one "winged" (particularly here, I barely see a right wing conservative news, only pro government and opposition) and stuff. Im kinda ranting at this point but hey, free speech
-Logic is lost but still, do it for your "own good"
Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, smaller countries have lesser cases than us. Yet, they are still brainwashed and controlled by the propaganda media as they still have to wear a mask. It may be optional to them but they are heavily indoctrinated and conditioned to follow the government as if it is a dictator. When you question someone here on the narrative, they will most definitely argue from the WHO standards and from authorities no matter how insane it is. I think it is really similar to the mask karens there in the US and I really feel it.
This is why I do not see much Asian countries participate in freedom rallies. Sure, I have seen Philippines (although there are quite hundreds only joining),Taiwan, and Japan for the sake, but I do not see much of the people waking up in Indo, Bhutan, (Not India, I know what they are up to and its yuge) but when it comes to our local place, its kinda hard.
Brainwashing goes hard to the core when you have values and you go on the conservative (not right wing) way on doing things. When you are influenced by the cabal greatly, its so hard to re-educate yourself and relearn the new alternative with the values that you have in your country.
I hope there is a way for us in the local community to have an event that will mass awaken people. People in my community (Gising Maharlika) is fed up already and asking where the EBS and the white hats are doing. Although I know that it is a long process to reach it, it really had to be this way.
The worth is hard. WWG1WGAWW is really a great awakening to experience. When sht hits, the BS that we are living in will gradually come to pass and we will be united together in the end.
Godbless and goodnight frens.
Thank you for this post. I think most Americans don't understand the cultural mindset of SE Asians. The awakening will happen in its own time.
I am glad to teach a lot of them to you. Learning others culture is quite interesting as to how I learned western and european culture
This is why I do not see Libertarians and free thinkers here in our country. Because of the collectivism of Asian values, we barely get to see another side do their own work. This is why I do not get to see any "right-wing" sites here because all politics here are based on that virtue.
To add up, this is why I barely see an Asian awake. Other than India, I rarely get to see someone from Indo, Japan, Brunei wake up and tell people the truth. This is why I get to wonder why are there sooooo yuge awake people in Australia, Europe, South America.
Got it, we are really bondaged by our values. When it comes to a system that is ran by control and centralization, a lot of us here are in danger.
Oh goodness I don’t know if it can be culturally undone. A parallel- like how the CCP took advantage of the great loving hearts and authentically NON-racist culture of the US and turned it into associating race with their bastard regime, so that embracing Asians was accepting via Trojan horse the CCP.
So I see a parallel that this sick cabal of [them] is using the Asian cooperative spirit, respect for authority, deference to elders/experts totally to their advantage. Logic, intelligence, critical thought, all pushed aside. The trust is being twisted.
I look to our brothers and sisters in HK who desperately tried to fight abysmal communism with great courage and risk. Their minds were liberated by western ideas imbued by their former UK culture. They get it. They know what it means to be individuals. And they know with sorrow what they have lost.
The kind, loving people of Taiwan have a sense of individuality but it is vastly dwarfed by traditional norms/values of conformity, loyalty, community. In the past, these virtues allowed Asian cultures to persist over millennia. Now, it’s all twisted against the better interest of good common people, in favor of the evil powerful people in whom trust is tragically placed.
Culture changes very gradually. I don’t think it can happen fast enough to stop this evil process unfolding. Of course, the CCP did a cultural lobotomy, a cultural genocide on their own people!!! I never will comprehend how anyone from a western country (antifa fools, etc.) could EVER idealize anything to do with them. It’s extremely sick. It is never the answer.
The people must be gently awakened. I must be honest, I thought I was pretty much fully awake. But the past few weeks, observing the behavior of our government (which I once sincerely believed was protecting us!) I have realized the ultimate betrayal must have occurred. Something terrible is happening in Taiwan and I am deeply troubled.
The only hope I have is that the brilliant fire of freedom that still burns will sustain and guide us through this time. Most people will not consent to mandatory vaccines, I think, I hope. But most people here are gently resting in a trusting sleep, placing faith in their leaders, until recently even I trusted too.
My second awakening has happened. This time, close to my heart and quite shocking.
Mabuhay........way sapayan....
I know this is true for Japan (I am Japanese by ethnicity) and South Korea so it probably applies here, but Asians, regardless of where we are seated, are indoctrinated to care about the good of all, over the few, over singularity - not to be confused as collectivist, but that of social solidarity.
It's both a weakness and a strength. It has kept our societies fairly homogeneous with values, morality and community, however, its weaknesses are the obvious.
Americans assess this as a weakness, where as we we assess their arrogance and focus on individuality as a weakness - which it is as well. When you focus on the individual, you lose cultural homogeny, when you focus on homogeny, you lose focus of the individual.
I wouldn't be so hasty as to measure 'Asian culture' as the wrong way, when comparing to a metric of Americanism, because that too is, demonstrably weak, i.e ;
The US Military has suffered great losses, mostly at the hands of exploits of the individualist centric society, I don't know if that right now is going to be able to be overcome. Communists/etc have weaponized individualism to the extent that it is all that matters, hence why you see every blue hair being ass patted with 79280928902 pronouns. It was a weakness that was greatly exploited.
Asians may follow orders stupidly and do the best for "society" as a whole, at the complete cost of the individual (which is being exploited with draconian mandates that are self-enforceable) but Western Society is being exploited via their individualism.
Oh btw, when you question their ethics and their solutions they will get mad at you and say that it is disrespectful (especially chinese because they like to do everything fixed). For us, it may be an advantage to our virtues but to the west, they think that it is a disadvantage as it makes us closed to new and better information.
The PRC vs China proper are two very different beasts, sadly.
I think both West (or rather America) and East have massive negatives and massive positives to their approach - The American approach is the same kind of arrogance that the East employs, it's just wrapped in a different cultural blanket.
Americans think their way is the only way and it's impossible they're (current) wrong and the East think their way is the only way because generations can't be wrong.
The East will seek to solve within limitations where as the west seeks to re-invent the wheel every time. Both have massive negatives.
The PRC on the other hand, are a beast mixture of the most manipulative social system created + eastern thought patterns. This is why the US, as a society not the foundation, are poorly prepared to deal with China. They don't accept that their enemy is a hybrid entity currently exploiting them on various fronts. They know that it's happening, but they don't truly accept it.
Not directed as an insult to you, but this arrogance is exactly why the military and country are being exploited via social individualism.
You are unable to see your own weaknesses. Everyone else in the rest of the world sees American's weaknesses. Americans refuse because that would go against the narrative that American is infallible, too big to fail, the best of the best.
Rome thought that too. They, like America, were wrong. If America were the above, then we wouldn't have people here so neck deep in cope and hopium that all this shit is a movie, Joe Biden isn't "really in control" and that a fundamentally broken military is going to fix shit.
That's all cope, hopium and arrogance.
Besides, as I said, I wasn't highlighting collectivism vs individualism. I specified social solidarity and social individualism. I thought that was very clear.
Collectivism and individualism aren't relevant as umbrella terms here, because, unless something has gone full tilt overnight, America is not a communist country.
I knew it. Not to be racist against my race but I'm finding out our weaknesses through being awake. Glad to be here on the team of truthers.
You know what, it’s a double edge sword, this communal attitude. It’s all about what we are united for. It’s only a weakness when we are united for something wrong. Think of a herd of cattle being guided to slaughter. Now think of a STAMPEDE of water buffalo destroying every evil thing in its path.
This is the goal of awakening. I have to admit, Asians may be very difficult to awaken. But damn it, once awoken, watch out.
Like me. Im tired of this shit
Courage is contagious.
