That would be so difficult! I'm one of those smart who held on to my idealism with a death grip. Enuf bad things happened to me I finally had to accept there are some evil ppl in sheep's clothing.

Denial is, as you so eloquently just expressed, supposed to be reserved for that which we cannot change and is too terrifying to face.
